Junior ITF

The Junior ITF is held annually in April by ETA at the Mornington Tennis Club.


The ITF Junior Circuit is the premier level for worldwide competition among under 18 junior tennis players. Mirroring the ATP and WTA circuits, the ITF Junior Circuit ranks players across the world, and crowns a year end world champion. Over 300 tournaments will be held in approximately 115 countries throughout the year.

The ITF Junior Circuit is organised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Since its creation in 1977, it has been the beginning of many successful careers. Some Junior World Champions that have gone on to achieve great success on the pro tour include, Ivan Lendl, Pat Cash, Martina Hingis, Andy Roddick, Amelie Mauresmo and Roger Federer.

This event is expecting to see approx. 200 players compete, with the addition of many coaches, parents, and spectators to be at the event.

The field of players for this tournament sees players travelling from across the world from countries including; Australia, Japan, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Serbia, Cambodia, Canada, Belarus, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Austria.
